Freemans Bay School is led by a team of approximately 60 staff, including: teachers, support staff and learning assistants.  They are well supported in their work in an excellent resourced modern environment. Our teams enjoy state of the art facilities and attractive surroundings in a central Auckland location.

Kaiako Scale A - Whānau Ata for 2020 (Permanent and Fixed Term)

Mauri ora ki a koutou e rapu tūnga ana mo te tau 2020. Tērā pea he tūnga māu ki tō mātou kura.  Mehemea he reo Māori koe, he pūkenga ōu ki te whakaako i te Poutama Tau, i Te Reo Matatini, me ērā atu peka o te TMoA kaua e tatari.  Me tono mai koe.  Mehemea he ngawari, he auaha, he manawanui, he pukumahi anō hoki koe, e hiahia ana tō mātou whānau i a koe.  Māu tēnei tūnga.  He kaha nō ngā Kaiako o tēnei whānau ki te whakapakari i ngā Kaiako ahakoa ko wai, ahakoa nō hea.  He mahitahi te taiao o ngā whare akoako no reira nau mai haere mai.

Scale A New Entrant Teacher (Fixed Term - Term 4)

We are seeking a teacher who has energy, passion, resilience, inspiration and is committed to our school vision of “Engage! Enrich! Empower!” to join our fabulous  New Entrant/ Year 1 team.

Due to roll growth we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic New Entrant teacher to be employed in a Fixed Term position for Term 4. The team is dedicated to providing a seamless transition to school, followed by quality learning programmes for all our learners.

We have a play-based philosophy to inspire creativity and develop oral language skills. Our students and their whānau (family) are surrounded by a warm and caring environment.

This fixed term position will commence on October 14, 2019 (beginning of Term 4) and end on Thursday 19, 2019.
