Kia ora, my name is Rebecca, and I’m very happy to be joining the Freemans Bay School whānau. I enjoy working with students across all year levels and have a special interest in teaching maths, reading, and writing.

I believe children learn best when they feel safe, included, and confident to share their ideas. In my classroom, I aim to create a supportive environment where students can explore their thinking, ask questions, and grow in their learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, and spending time in the garden.

I see parents and caregivers as important partners in each child’s learning journey. I will share regular updates through our class portal and am always happy to connect if you would like to talk about your child’s progress.

I’m really looking forward to getting to know the students and families in our wonderful school community.
