Joanne is a New Entrant teacher with a Bachelor of Teaching and many years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about creating a warm, inclusive classroom where all tamariki feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Joanne enjoys weaving te reo Māori and tikanga into everyday routines and learning experiences, helping children develop a strong sense of belonging and confidence. She loves seeing tamariki explore, ask questions, and learn from one another, and is committed to supporting each child to grow and thrive in their own way.

Outside the classroom, Joanne enjoys arts and crafts, exploring new learning ideas, and spending quality time with her whānau.
